How to Add Notes and Tags and Export Orders

This guide shows how to add a note and a tag to an order, filter your orders by tag, and export the current page as a CSV file.

In your Shopify admin, click Orders.
Open the order, here #1030, and click the edit icon next to Notes.
Type your note, then click Done.
The note now shows under Notes on the order.
Under Tags, type a tag and select it. Tags save right away.
Back on the Orders list, click the filter icon and choose Tagged with.
Type the tag you want to filter by.
The list now shows only the orders with that tag.
Click Export. Choose Current page and CSV for Excel, Numbers, or other spreadsheet programs.
Click Export orders. The CSV file downloads to your computer.
