How to Adjust Inventory Quantities

This guide shows how to change the available quantity of a product at one location, save the change and check the product's adjustment history.

In your Shopify admin, click Products in the left menu.
Click Inventory under Products.
Check the location menu at the top and choose your location.
Find your product and click its Available number.
Change Set to to Adjust by, so you add to the current stock instead of replacing it.
Enter 5. Available changes from 6 to 11.
Click Save at the top of the page.
A message confirms the change was saved, and the product now shows 11 available.
To see past changes, click the product name to open it.
In the Inventory section, click View adjustment history.
Choose your location in the location menu. The history lists each change with its date, activity and who made it.
