How to Build a Low Stock Tag Workflow With Shopify Flow

This guide shows how to build a simple Shopify Flow workflow that tags low stock products.

In your Shopify admin, open Apps and click Flow.
Click Create workflow, then Select a trigger.
Search the trigger list.
Choose Product variant inventory quantity changed.
Click the plus after the trigger and choose Condition.
The condition editor opens.
Click Add a variable.
Search for inventoryQuantity and choose the product variant's quantity.
Set the operator to Less than or equal to and the value to 5.
Under True, add an action and choose Add product tags.
The action is added to the workflow.
Type the tag to add, here low-stock.
Click More actions and choose Rename.
Type a name, and click Save.
Click Turn on workflow, then Turn on. A message confirms it's on.
