How to Cancel an Order

This guide shows how to cancel an order, refund the customer to their original payment method, and restock the items.

In your Shopify admin, click Orders in the left menu.
Click the search icon and filter the list, for example by Tagged with a tag.
Click the order you want to cancel, here #1042.
Click More actions, then Cancel order.
Choose how to refund, pick a Reason for cancellation, and leave Restock inventory ticked.
Untick Send a notification if you don't want to email the customer.
Click Cancel order.
The order now shows Canceled, Refunded and Archived.
