How to Capture an Authorized Payment

This guide shows how to find orders with authorized payments and capture the payment so the order is paid.

In your Shopify admin, go to Orders.
Click the filter icon and choose Payment status.
Select Authorized.
The list now shows only orders with an authorized payment.
Open the order, here #1061, and click Capture payment.
Check the amount, then click Accept.
The payment is captured, the order shows as Paid and the timeline records the capture.
