How to Process a Return and Refund

This guide shows how to create a return on an order and refund the customer.

In your Shopify admin, click Orders.
Search for the order number, here 1057.
Open the order and click Return.
Select the quantity of each item to return.
The Expected refund updates, here $169.00.
Choose a Return reason, here Too small, then click Create return.
The return is created. Click Process and refund.
Check the Refund amount and restock location.
Click Issue refund. A message confirms the return was processed.
The order now shows Return closed and Partially refunded.
