How to Review Online Store Preferences and Password Protection

This guide shows where to find your online store preferences, including password protection and the homepage search listing.

In your Shopify admin, click Online Store.
Click Preferences.
Under Store access, password protection controls whether visitors need a password to see your store.
Under Social sharing image and SEO, set the homepage title, meta description and sharing image.
Below that are Automatic redirection, Spam protection and Crawler access.
If you change anything, click Save at the top of the page.
